Information about the processing of personal data:
1 Website and Hosting
When you visit our website to gather information without providing any personal data yourself (e.g., by registering or submitting a form), personal data (e.g., IP address) is still collected that is technically necessary for the operation of the website. This data is kept for a maximum of 14 days and then automatically deleted.
2 Forms
Through the forms on this website, you can (1) contact us, (2) submit a support request, or (3) register for a trial access. The data provided will be forwarded to our employees by email for further processing and stored only for as long as necessary for processing. When creating a trial access for our project management software Projectworx, this is also necessary for using the system and will be stored for 12 months. The emails you receive during the trial are sent both through the software itself and through our email marketing tool, which we describe in point #7 Newsletter / Email Marketing.
3 Cookies
This website uses cookies. The Borlabs plugin only transfers your IP address and all other personal data to services for which you have given your consent. Your cookie settings are stored in a log (without using personal data), so you can track when you gave consent to which cookies. Furthermore, as a user, you also have the option to block cookies via your browser settings. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website.
4 Google Services
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, if you are a resident of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, it is Google Ireland Limited (Registration Number: 368047), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
For this purpose, Google Analytics uses cookies. The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. We have enabled IP anonymization on this website and have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. Transmission of the collected information to a third country cannot be excluded. You have the option to prevent the collection and processing of data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google by following this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. In this case, an opt-out cookie will be set. You can find all details in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Google Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads to promote our website and offerings. In the case of Google Ads, each Ads customer receives a different “conversion cookie”. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information obtained using the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Ads customers are provided with the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users—unless there is a conversion, and the user voluntarily provides their data by submitting a form.
If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising by Google Marketing Services, you can use Google’s settings and opt-out options provided.
Google Tag Manager
In Google Tag Manager, we manage various tools for website analysis. Google Tag Manager is an auxiliary service and only processes personal data for technically necessary purposes. Google Tag Manager ensures the loading of other components, which may themselves collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
Google Remarketing
This website uses cookies for the purpose of targeting visitors with remarketing campaigns in the Google advertising network at a later time. Third-party providers use Google cookies to display remarketing ads based on visits to this website. This feature allows the provider to address you as a website visitor with personalized, interest-based ads when you visit other websites in the Google Display Network.
Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps mapping service. To ensure the desired functionality, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. Through the use of Google Maps, we aim to ensure easy access to the locations listed on our website.
#5 LinkedIn
On this website, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag. LinkedIn uses this data to create anonymous reports on ad activity and information on how you interact with our website. For more information on privacy at LinkedIn, please visit: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig. You can opt out of LinkedIn’s analysis of your usage behavior and the display of interest-based recommendations (“Opt-Out”) by clicking on the “Decline on LinkedIn” field (for LinkedIn members) or “Decline” (for other users) under the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
#6 Video Plugins
This website uses plugins to display and play videos from the YouTube platform, operated by Google Inc. When you visit a page equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection is established to YouTube’s servers as soon as you start playing a video. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. For more information on how user data is handled, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Additionally, this website also uses plugins to display and play videos from the Vimeo platform, Vimeo.com, Inc. 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, New York 10001, USA.
When you, as a visitor to our website, access a page containing embedded video content from this platform, your browser automatically connects to Vimeo’s servers. This results in data transmission. Your IP address, technical information, device information, and usage behavior (such as session duration, bounce rate) are also collected through the storage of cookies, regardless of whether you have a Vimeo account.
#7 Newsletter / E-Mail Marketing
For sending and analyzing our newsletters, we use the e-mail marketing software eworx Marketing Suite (mailworx). The eworx Marketing Suite tracks opening and clicking behavior. Specifically, the following information is tracked: time of delivery, time of opening, duration of opening, IP address of opening, email program used (mail client), which link was clicked, and the time of the click.
This data is processed exclusively within the European Union and not shared with third parties.
We use the tool for accompanying emails within the scope of the Projectworx trial access and, within existing business relationships, for regular update information. You have the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time without giving a reason (e.g., via the unsubscribe link). If you wish to change your data, you can use the corresponding “change data” link in the newsletter. Furthermore, you can also exercise your right to delete your data. Contact us at office@mbyte.at for this purpose.
#8 Projectworx Trial Account
To provide access to the functionality of our project management software Projectworx, we use personal data (name, email address, time of registration, first login, etc.). This data is used for system-side processing and, if necessary, for service inquiries (e.g., if you submit a support request via the system) and is not stored for longer than 12 months.
Changes to these Privacy Policies
We reserve the right to change these privacy policies at any time in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. Current status: August 2024.
